Nabweya Primary School (Sanitation)

Project Location: Nabugoye Village, Mbale, Uganda

People Served: 1004 students and 16 teachers

The Problem

Sanitation facilities are cracked and collapsing which is unsafe for all users. They are struggling to maintain students attending with the pressures on current, poor facilities.

The Solution

Construction of one boys latrine block one girls latrine block a girls washing block, three handwashing facilities. The teachers sanitation facilities will be combined and shared with Kakungulu primary School to reduce costs since the schools are directly next to each other. The teacher’s latrine will be placed in between the two schools.
