Beach Cleanups
Since 2010, we have partnered with great people and organizations to host monthly beach cleanups. Join us as a volunteer for a few hours every April through September to help keep Lake Erie GREAT! What we do in our watershed matters everywhere because water (and pollution) has no boundaries.

Directions for DLDT’s May 17th Beach Cleanup
Drink Local Drink Tap’s Edgewater Beach Cleanup on May 17th will overlap with The Cleveland Marathon. The Marathon Route will shut down Detroit ave. and Route 2, however traffic guards will periodically still allow traffic to cross Detroit road, at West 65th and W. 58th, throughout the day in order to allow Beach Cleanup participants to access Edgewater Beach. You can find the full marathon route map with all street closures here.
Please use the map below to access the beach, and please allow for more travel time that morning to ensure you arrive by 10:00.
